Benson School District serves the community of Benson as well as other areas across San Pedro Valley.  It is our mission to provide a safe and welcoming learning community that prepares students to be competitive and productive citizens. 

This past year the State Department of Education moved to a new A-F Accountability System, which is based on student academic growth over a year, AIMS scores and graduation and dropout rates.  Grades for the 2010-11 school year were recently issued and Benson School District received a “B” grade.  Although we are proud of that grade, our focus is on continual improvement of our day to day practices that will allow us to achieve an “A” in the future.

Benson School District serves 1200 students and has a strong reputation for providing a quality academic program.  In addition we offer a wide variety of clubs, extracurricular programs and after school activities.  Benson School District has a traditional Primary, Middle and High School as well as a Charter High School and Virtual Academy.
